Beulah Lois Fisher, age 91, of McPherson, Kansas formerly of Shenandoah, Iowa died at her home in McPherson on September 20, 1999. She was born on March 7, 1908 in Rock, Kansas the daughter of Fred and Katie Williams Monzingo. On August 25, 1936 she married Fred Fisher. In 1959 Beulah and her family moved from Shenandoah to McPherson. She worked at Central College in the Tiger Den and later at the Starlight Restraunt as a pastry cook. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, amd solving difficult crossword puzzles. Moscow, Idaho daughters, Doris Shaffer of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Freeda Gilro of McPherson, Kansas, Kathryn Fisher of Seattle, Washington, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Carroll Monzingo, and two sisters, Rhoda Huddle and Helen Larew. Burial of ashes and graveside services were held on Saturday, September 2, 2000 at the Coin Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Crosby officiating. Walker-Merrick was in charge of the local arrangements.
