HARRIS, Hester Mazingo, 79, of Buena Vista, died March 17, 1993 in a Lexington hospital. She was born in Rockbridge County February 10, 1914, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lorraine Giles Mazingo. She was the widow of Henry C. Harris. Surviving are three daughters, JoAnn M. Hostetter, Alene Beverly and Pauline Mazingo, all of Buena Vista; one son, Beryle Mazingo, Fayetteville, N.C.; one sister, Nellie Mason, Buena Vista; two brothers, George R. Mazingo, James L. Mazingo, both of Buena Vista; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Arron Wilhelm and the Rev. Dean Staton. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Lomax Funeral Home.
