Wayne Mozingo, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away June 6, 2004. He was born December 3, 1919 in Decatur County to Raymond W. and Edna M. (Downey) Mozingo. He was a Supervisor for the Indianapolis Department of Transportation under the supervision of Mayor Bill Hudnut, retiring in 1984. He was a member of University Heights Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, golf and bowling. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary G. (Wright) Mozingo; Children, Butch (Patsy) Mozingo, Ray (Pat) Mozingo, Pam (Bob) Iserloth and Candy (Herb) Burnell; 2 sisters, Ann Nickleson and Maxine McGlaughlin; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His brother, Berkley Mozingo and 2 sisters, Betty Sprong and Lois Prazeau preceded him in death. Services will be Thursday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at University Heights Christian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9 from 2 to 8 p.m. at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave. and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at Church. Entombment will be at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to University Heights Christian Church, 4050 Shelby St. Indianapolis, IN 46227.
