Clara Mozingo Mayer, 90, of Pine Bluff, died Friday. She was born April 4, 1915, in Johnson County, N. C., a daughter of the late Oscar Mozingo and Mary Ellen Hinnant Mozingo. She was reared and educated in North Carolina and was a graduate of the Park View Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and worked both in medical offices and home health care. A resident of Pine Bluff since 1949, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Linwood Mayer on Aug. 12, 1981, and two sisters, Mayune Creech and Ruby Johnson. Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Mayer of Redfield and James O. Mayer of Pine Bluff; a sister, Mary Lamm of Selma, N. C.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dean Clausing officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 4200 Old Warren Road, Pine Bluff, 71603.
