Marjorie Louise Monzingo
Marjorie Louise Monzingo was born Jan 5, 1918 in Marshfield, Oregon. She was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Minnie Lee (Ross) Allison. She died Jan. 4, 2003 in Altus. She was a long time resident of Altus and Jackson County having resided here since 1929. She married Leroy Monzingo, March 11, 1934 in Mangum, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1954. She owned and operated a restaurant in Altus for 30 years. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: Son Ken Monzingo of San Diego, Calif., 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Sandra Jean Walker, and 1 sister, Edith Hadley. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
