DOLLIE M. PATE
Mrs. Dollie M. Pate, 83, of 404 Quail Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. A woman of God, loving mother and dedicated wife, she attended Freedom Baptist Church in Goldsboro, N.C. Dollie was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Foy Junior and Bruce Mozingo.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Herman J. Pate; one brother, Lloyd Mozingo of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and his wife, Rachel; five sons, Jarvis Pate of Hampton, Virginia, Richard Pate of Goldsboro, N.C., Keith Pate of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Gary Pate of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Greg Pate of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by four very special daughters-in-law, Amy Pate of Hampton, Virginia, Thelma Pate of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Sherry Pate of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Hope Pate of Jacksonville, Florida.
Dollie is also survived by grandchildren, Nicole and Kimberly Pate of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Michael and Logan Pate of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dylan and Dawson Pate of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as Allen Pate and his wife, Shannon, of Grafton, Virginia, with a great-grandson, Kyle.
The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2004, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Funeral services, conducted by Pastor David Jackson, will be held following the visitation on Friday at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel with internment at Wayne Memorial Park.
