Geneva Hicks Mozingo
Pikeville - Mrs. Geneva Hicks Mozingo, 83, 309 Airport Road died Saturday night after a lingering illness.
She was born and reared in Wayne County and was the daughter of the late Charlie Deems Hicks and Effie Pate Hicks. She was the widow of Bruce Luby Mozingo, Sr. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A. M. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church of which she was a member. Interment will be in Pikeville Cemetery. Rev. Gerald Massey and Rev. Jimmy Hicks will officiate.

She is survived by a daughter Cheryl M. Benton and her husband Ben of Pikeville. Sons; Gordon E. Mozingo and his wife Bonnie of Goldsboro, Bruce L. Mozingo, Jr. and his wife Nelda, Linwood Mozingo and his wife Sandra and Jerry Mozingo and his wife Becky all of Pikeville. Grandchildren Dawn M. Gardner and her husband Stewart, Chris Mozingo, Ben Benton, Jr. and his wife Doricia, Donna B. Myers and her husband Wayne, Bruce Allen Benton, Jenny B. Parnell and her husband Michael, Kevin Mozingo, Wendy Mozingo, Jamie Mozingo and his wife Becky, Cindy M. McPhail and her husband Jared, Tracy M. Hales and her husband Gary, Amanda M. Cummings and her husband Corbett. Step- Grandchildren: Melissa Wilkins, Jennifer Newcomb and her husband Eric. Great-Grandchildren: Trey Benton, Torie Benton, Cash Benton, Landon Myers, Benton Myers, Keely Myers, Aaron Parnell, Lyndsey Parnell, Austin Mozingo, Josh Mozingo and Rylie Grace Hales.
