NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va. - Margaret V. Burris, 89, of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, She was born in Wheeling Nov. 14, 1915, the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Mazingo.
She worked many years as a waitress in the Weirton Diner. She was a member of the New Cumberland Free Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Craig Polen; her second husband, Junior Snead; and her third husband, James Burris.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Polen, of Burgettstown, Pa., Robert Polen, of New Cumberland, and William Polen, of Richmond, Ohio; a daughter, Norma Mackenzie, of Indiana; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home of New Cumberland.
