Their son Daniel b ca 1794 Woodford Co KY mar Lucy Masterson dau of John Masterson and Catherine "Caty" Mozingo on 10 Dec 1816. They moved from Shelby Co KY to North AL. soon thereafter. Others of this family woh were in AL were Daniel's bro John , Lucy's parents, and the Durretts and Thompsons who mar her sisters, and her bro Guthridge Masterson.. John Masterson's will was made in Shelby Co KY and probated in LAU Co AL in 1825.

record of Richard Wade III indicates that he was of North Carolina when he enlisted for revolutionary service in the North Carolina militia. Apparently because Boonesborough was established by North Carolinians, with the understanding that Kentucky was a part of that colony at the time, militiamen assigned to Boone there were considered to be residents of North Carolina. Daniel Wilcoxson of North Carolina came to Boonesborough in 1775 and later entered military service there, but his records show that he was in North Carolina when he joined the North Carolina line. (National Archives military and pension files.)
