WALNUT BEND - Sallie Mozingo of the Walnut Bend community in Cooke County, a homemaker and retired nurse, died Friday at a Dallas hospital. She was 78.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Broadway Church of Christ in Gainesville, where she was a member. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Gainesville.
Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mozingo was born in Cooke County.
She had worked as a nurse at the old Gainesville Sanitorium.
Survivors: Husband, Edgar Mozingo of Walnut Bend; two sons, Dan Mozingo of Walnut Bend and Ray Mozingo of Gainesville; daughter, Colleen Scott of Gainesville; sister, June Lewis of Hurst; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
