Sam Mozingo, 81, of Laurel died March 13, 2003, at Care Center of Laurel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Burial will be in Antioch United Methodist Cemetery in Jones County. The Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate.
He was a retired machine operator at Woodall Industries.
He was preceded in death by a son, Billy E. Mozingo.
Mozingo is survived by his wife, Edith Mozingo, a son, Sammy E. Mozingo of Laurel; two daughters, Linda Simpson of Laurel and Brenda Patino of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Elijah Mozingo of Waynesboro Alton Mozingo of Ellisville; two sisters, Goldie Craft of Ovett and Ada Landry of Clara; half sister, Pearl Nicholson of Waynesboro; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
