Obituary: Funeral services for Eleanor Segars White, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Swift Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Gary Colboch and the Rev. Jack Larkin will officiate with burial at 1417 Floyd's Rd. directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Swift Creek Baptist Church Foreign Missions, 413 N. Center Rd., Hartsville, SC 29550 or to the Darlington County Humane Society, Box 1655, Hartsville, SC 29551. Mrs. White, widow of James L. �Boots� White, died Thursday, January 17, 2008. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Sidney L. and Belle Mozingo Segars. She was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church and a nurse for 38 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that loved nature and always tried to help others who could not help themselves. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, James L. "Jimmy" and Rita White of Hartsville, SC, William E. "Billy" and Birgette White of Hartsville, SC; sister, Helen S. Boyd of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren (spouse), Shannon (Will) Floyd, Bill (Brandy) White, Marli White, Brielle White all of Hartsville, SC; great-granchild, James L. �Trey� White, III. She was preceded in death by sisters, Annie Lou Hafner, Belva Miller, Cele Segars; brother, Sid Segars, Jr.
