Obituary:
Graveside services for Pete Junior Blackwell, 64, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Union Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Miriam Hadden will officiate and Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is in charge. The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall. Mr. Blackwell died Friday, July 13, 2007. Born in Chesterfield Co., SC, he was a son of the late Stafford Pete and Effie Mozingo Blackwell. He was retired as owner and operator of Pete's Auto Sales. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Rex and Cathy Blackwell of Hartsville, SC, Jody and Debbie Blackwell of Hartsville, SC, Grant Blackwell of McBee, SC; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenna and Patrick Murphy of Columbia, SC, Caroline and Brandon Hodge of Hartsville, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Sam Gardner of McBee, SC; brother, John Blackwell of McBee, SC; grandchildren, Taylor Blackwell, Autumn Blackwell, Abigayle Murphy, Dalton Murphy.
