HARTSVILLE- Funeral services for Mary Sue Fields Jordan Mozingo, 76, were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at House of Prayer Holiness Church with burial in Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Billy Melton and Hazel Mixon officiated and Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home served the family. The family received friends Monday, May 12, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the House of Prayer Holiness Church, 1115 Creekside Drive, Hartsville, SC 29550.
Mrs. Mozingo, widow of Eldridge N, Jordan, Sr. and Hubert L. Mozingo, died Sunday, May 11, 2008. Born in Lee Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late George Wallace and Ada Watford Fields. She was a member of House of Prayer Holiness Church and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Mildred Jordan of Hartsville, SC, Howard "Bill" and Jane Jordan of Bishopville, SC, William Leroy and Barbara Jordan of Cassatt, SC, Joe and Bonnie Jordan of Hartsville, SC, Kenneth and Grace Jordan of Rego Park, NY; daughters and sons-in-law, Sara G. Stokes of Lydia, SC, Blanche and Broadus Kelley of Hartsville, SC, Emmie Sue and Bobby Baird of Camden, SC, Dot and Randy Johnson of Hartsville, SC; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Eldridge Norman Jordan, Jr. and her daughter, Patricia Jordan.
