MOZINGO, Peggy Jean Zane, 69, resident of Valley Grove, W.Va., died Monday, September 5, 2005 in Wheeling Hospital. Peggy was born August 7, 1936 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Ellsworth R. and Ruth E. Morris Zane. She was a homemaker; and a Methodist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley K. Mozingo in 1991; a sister, Shirley Travis; and a brother, Samuel Zane.

Surviving are her son, Terry R. Zane and his wife, Glenda, of Mingo Junction, Ohio; her daughters, Cecilia (Jeanie) Nash and her husband, Mike, of Dallas Pike, Jenny Carr and her husband, Mike, of McMechen, W.Va., Linda Brautigan and her husband, Walter, of Benwood, W.Va., and Sue Nash and her husband, Jim, of Dallas Pike; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Smith, Linda Humes and Mary McCombs; a brother, Danny Zane; and an aunt, Betty Hercules.

Friends will be received from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Lewis, officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, 162 Court Street, Charleston, WV 25301.
