Eva Mazingo Marshburn
RICHLANDS NC - Eva Mazingo Marshburn, 92, died Oct. 9 at Carebridge Assisted Living in Jacksonville.
The funeral will be at 7 tonight at Johnson Funeral Home in Richlands with the Rev. Donald Christian officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Onslow Memorial Park.
She was retired from Belk and was a member of Richlands First Baptist Church, The Sunshine Club, and former co-owner of Marshburn & Sons Grocery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Hilda Rouse Mazingo; her husband, Kirby Marshburn; and a daughter, Betty Jane Marshburn.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Marshburn of Richlands, and Ernest "Ernie" Marshburn of Dothan, Ala.; a daughter, Helen Marshburn Wilson of Bonita Springs, Fla.; a brother, Horace Mazingo of Richlands; a sister, Sydney Cowell of Charlotte; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after tonight's service at the church.
