LA GRANGE � Sidney Mozingo, 82, of 213 East James St., died Tuesday morning at his home. Sidney was born in Lenoir County on July 13, 1926, to the late Logan Mozingo and Bessie Ellis Mozingo. He was a retired painter and farmer, and Sidney served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Fowler and the Rev. Gerald Carraway officiating. Sidney is survived by his wife, Virginia Tillman Mozingo; a son, Charles David Mozingo of Mount Olive; sister Helen Joyce Wood of La Grange; and one grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at Rouse Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Funeral arrangements by Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
