June 1811 Culpeper Co, VA Ordered that Mildred MOZINGO be Summoned to the next Court to show cause why an attachment shall not be issued agst her for not app[earing] to give testimony on behalf the C0Wealth at the instance of... one of the overseers of the poor for this County against James McCARTY charged with begetting a Bastard Child upon the body of the sd Mildred MOZINGO & that a spa [sic] issue in the above case to the 1st day next court �Commonwealth [of Virginia] vs. James McCarty,� June 1811, Culpeper County, Virginia Minute Book No. 6, 1809-1811, p. 404 (FHL Film #30,972, item 1).

1811 Jul Culpeper Co, VA. Commonwealth vs. James MCCARTY continued to the next court, Mildred MOZINGO failing to appear (no further record of this case because the next minute book is no longer extant] (Minute Book 6:409).

It is possible that Emilia and Mildred "Milly" Mozingo are two different people. SMM
