Lillian was 81, a retired teacher, died Saturday at her home. She was the eighth of nine children born to Oscar and Rhoda Fox, Cooke County pioneers. She graduated from Gainesville High and Austin College.
She married Ray Mozingo Aug. 9, 1943. They lived in Dallas and Richardson until they retired to Callisburg in 1989. She taught school in the rural areas of Gainesville, in Garland and in Richardson. In 1979, she retired from White Rock Elementary School in the Richardson school district after teaching there for 18 years.
She was a member of Callisburg United Methodist Church as a youth, and again when she returned to the area. She loved teaching children and she loved her family.
Survivors: Husband, a daughter and son-in-law, a son and daughter-in-law, two grandsons, a sister, a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
