Nancy Ann Perkins, 64

Nancy Ann Perkins, 64 of Westport passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 1:39 p.m. at her residence.

She was born on June 18, 1941 in Greensburg, Ind. to Harlace M. and Ruth E. (Mozingo) Ponsler.

She has been a lifelong resident of Jennings and Decatur County. She graduated from North Vernon High School in 1959 and was a member of the New Bethel United Methodist Church. She was married to Jesse Lee Perkins in Westport, Ind. on December 30, 1988. She also enjoyed gardening, mowing, fishing, camping and photography.

She is survived by her Husband, Jesse Lee Perkins of Westport; Father, Harlace M. Ponsler of North Vernon; three Daughters, Stacy Collins of North Vernon, Dana Rouse of Danville, Ky., and Dina Sherrill of North Vernon; one Son, Scott Perkins of Westport; two Brothers, James L. Ponsler of North Vernon and Nelson Ponsler of North Vernon; ten Grandchildren and one Great-grandson.

She was preceded by her Mother, Ruth Ponsler.

Visitation services will be on Thursday, May 11 from 4-8 p.m. at Bass and Gasper Funeral Home in Westport, Ind. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Tom Rust officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be at Westport Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sardinia Baptist Church and New Bethel United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
