Born in Maryland, Steve grew up in Michigan and Ohio. He lived for 11 years in Cleveland, TN, and worked at the Dr. Scholl's plant before moving to Sevierville. He was a House Parent at the Smoky Mountain Children's Home. He became an employee of the United States Postal Service five years ago and was postmaster in Talbott, TN. He was a member of Parkway Church of God, Sevierville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Mosingo and grandparents Silas and Gladys Mosingo and Carlos and Florence Markgraf.
