James Kenneth Mozingo, age 57 of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2005. Ken was the owner of C & M Landscaping. He served his Country during the Vietnam Conflict and received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Ken was a very generous man, who supported his community and actively supported the Georgia Transplant Foundation and the Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes. Ken was a beloved family man and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his Wife: Charlotte Mozingo; Son and daughter in law: Kenneth Harold Mozingo and Tammy M. both of Covington, GA; Mother: Ruth Mozingo of Fayetteville, NC; Brothers: Earl Mozingo, Gerald Mozingo both of Fayetteville, NC; Sisters: Margaret Ann Wade, Jean Mason, Betty Mitchell all of Fayetteville, NC; Sister in law: Gail Miller of Loganville, GA and Nephews, Chris and Russell Matthews; Grandchildren: Kenneth Murphy Mozingo, Abby Parker and Colby Bilz; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Gerald Spicer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, 770-277-4550.
