Death Of America Stephenson Brown Mozingo
Mrs. Mozingo of Stanton Called
Mrs. America Mozingo, 79, a resident of Stanton for the past eight years died yesterday. She was born in Maryville, Mo.
She leaves her husband, Frank Mozingo, five sons, Charles Brown, Los Angeles; J. D., W. A., and E. B., all of Stanton, and W. J. Brown, of Anaheim: five daughters, Mrs. T. L. Glasgow, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. C. P. French, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. S. L. Wait, Long Beach; and Mrs. Virgil Stufflebean, St. Joseph, Mo.; 34 grandchildren and 34 gr-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from Backs, Campbell, and Kaulbars Chapel, Monday at 10:30 a. m., with Rev. Thomas Burden, pastor of White Temple Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Park.
(Note: Her death occurred on Friday, 18 February, 1944. Her daughter, Reatha--Mrs. Cedric Ward, of St. Joseph, Mo., was omitted from the obituary. Reatha Ward lived until 1953. The obituary was given to me by Esther Lee Hetterich, daughter of Lottie Brown French)
