Pine Bluff Commercial (Aug/26/2004) HAMBURG -- Lois Mozingo Murphy, 87, of Hamburg, died Monday at Ashley County Medical Center. She was born Jan. 21, 1917, at Quitman, Miss., a daughter of the late Cornelius Kennedy and Rosie Ivy Kennedy. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Murphy; and two sons, Wayne Mozingo and Joe Mozingo. Survivors include one son, Howard Mozingo of Irvine, Calif.; three daughters, Roberta Roberts of White Hall, June Hughes of Hamburg and Gail Bell of Rison; three stepdaughters, Ann Simmons of El Paso, Texas, June Johnson of North Little Rock and Sally Schuster of Rogers (Benton County); three brothers, Raymond Kennedy of Laurel, Miss., Marvin Kennedy of Enterprise, Miss., and Henry Kennedy of McKinney, Texas; 12 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Crossroads Cemetery with Brent Hutsell officiating. Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home at Crossett.
