February 1, 2006 Issue - RENNE R. LAWHON - Renne Royall Lawhon, 60, of the Brogden community died Thursday, Jan. 26. Born April 6, 1945, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Walter E.P. and Mamie Mozingo Royall. She was retired from Sylvania and was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Pollock officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Frank Lawhon Jr. of Smithfield; a daughter, Penny Massey of Smithfield; a sister, Sylvia Pearce of Smithfield; and one grandchild.
Parrish Funeral Home, Selma, served the family.
