Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Austin Ray Muzingo memorial fund at the First City Bank, Independence.

They had owned the Fantastic Fazes tie-dye shop in Kansas City for a year. Mr. Muzingo was a lifelong Independence resident. Mrs. Muzingo was a lifelong area resident. Their survivors include a son, Austin Ray Muzingo of the home.

Dean Muzingo's survivors include his father, Daniel Muzingo, his mother, Linda Washam, and a sister, Lisa M. Muzingo, all of Independence; his paternal grandmother, Ruby V. Muzingo, Greenfield, Mo.; and his maternal grandparents, Davis and Doris Hutcheson of Independence.

Lisa Muzingo's survivors include her father, William M. Molder, Baudette, Minn.; her mother, Nelda Sue Molder, and a brother, William Brian Molder, both of Independence; her paternal grandmother, Jean Rupp, Blue Springs; and her maternal grandparents, James R. and Eloise Collins of Millville, Mo.
