MOZINGO, Carl L., 72, of Wellsburg, W.Va., died Monday, January 29, 2007 in Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, W.Va.

He was born on August 18, 1934 in Bethany, W.Va., a son of the late Herbert R. and Della E. Crawford Mozingo. He is also preceded in death by a son, Carl Lee, Jr. in 1980; a stepdaughter, Laurie Ann Kennen in 1982; a stepgrandson, Benjamin M. Kennen on January 14, 2007; a brother, John Mozingo; and two sisters, Margaret Simmons and Pauline Mowder.

Carl retired after 40 years of service at Eagle Manufacturing in Wellsburg, where he was a General Foreman.

He was a member of St. Anthony?s Catholic Church in Follansbee, W.Va.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Joanna Miller Mozingo at home; a daughter, Judy Brownlee and companion, Steve Fodor, of Independence, Pa.; two sons, David Mozingo of Wellsburg, Craig Mozingo of Nashville, Tenn.; three stepsons, Michael D. Kennen (Karen) of Follansbee, Dan Kennen (Wendy) of Lake Forest, Calif., Christopher Kennen (Brenda) of Warwood, W.Va.; one stepdaughter, Susie Kennen Music of Wellsburg; six brothers, Charles, Paul, and Howard, all of Follansbee, Herbert and Ralph, both of Wellsburg, Thomas of Beech Bottom, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary Caswell of Wellsburg, Hazel Reed of Follansbee; three grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 3-8 p.m. at the Chambers Funeral Home at 1030 Main Street in Wellsburg, where services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Anthony Cincinnati officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethany Community Cemetery in Bethany, W.Va.

MOZINGO, Joanna Miller, 68, of Wellsburg, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on her 28th wedding anniversary Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Weirton Medical Center. Joanna worked at Eagle Manufacturing in Human Resources. She was a member of St. Anthony?s Catholic Church in Follansbee, W.V

She was born on August 19, 1938 in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Bernard J. and Thelma Louise Hopkins Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Carl L. Mozingo, who died on January 29, 2007; a daughter, Laurie Ann Kennen in 1982; a grandson, Benjamin M. Kennen on January 14, 2007; and a stepson, Carl Lee Mozingo, Jr. in 1980.

Surviving are three sons, Michael D. Friends will be received on Friday, March 23, 2007, from 3-8 p.m. at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, where services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Anthony Cincinnati officiating.
