QUITMAN Services for Richard Allen Mozingo Sr. will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Beech officiating. Burial will be in Mosley Bridge Cemetery in Gilbertown, Ala.
Mr. Mozingo, 70, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, in his home. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and Lockheed-Martin and worked at Meridian Machine Works as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the Meridian Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Mozingo, of Meridian; a son, Beau Mozingo and his wife, Rhonda, of Meridian; a daughter, Michelle Hoffer and her husband, Casey, of Meridian; brothers, Robert Mozingo and his wife, Helen, of Nashville, Tenn., and John Mozingo and his wife, Helen, of Meridian; sisters, Joann Walker of Howe, Ind., and Mary Ann Spurgeon of Bryant, Ala.; grandchildren, Catherine Hoffer, Jacob Hoffer and Tyler Mozingo and several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Marc Davis of Kemper County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Mozingo and Helen Aleene Morrison and a brother, Harold Mozingo.
Visitation will be today beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
