Mary O. Mozingo

Mary Oliff Mozingo, 68, of Colonial Beach died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Westmoreland County, Mrs. Mozingo cared for the elderly in her home for 22 years. She was a member of King George Church of God, loved flowers and gardening and gospel music gatherings.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Mozingo; her children, Michael Mozingo, Donna Fatula and her husband, Steve, Charles Mozingo and his wife, Tina, Mary Mozingo and Carol Jenkins; her brothers and sisters, James Oliff, Charles Oliff and Jack Oliff, all of Montross, William Oliff of Upper Marlboro, Md., Altha Parr of Charlottesville and Mary Sanford of Colonial Beach; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Howard Timothy Mozingo; and three brothers, Thomas Oliff, Marvin Oliff and Franklin Oliff.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at King George Church of God, with Pastor Lance Bacon officiating. Burial will be in the Oliff-Mozingo family cemetery on Flat Iron Road in Westmoreland County.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George.
