McBEE � Graveside services for Thomas Lewis Gardner, 59, were held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2001 at Union Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville Chapel. Rev. Homer Hinson officiated. Mr. Gardner was born in Darlington County, a son of the late Cary and Dolly Deaver Gardner.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Mozingo Gardner of McBee; sons, Eddie and Rodney Gardner of McBee; brothers, Claude H. Gardner of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Cecil, James and George Gardner of Bethune; sisters, Patsy Catoe of Elizabethtown, Fla., Martha Floyd of Lexington, Ky., Katie Cobb of Camden, Brenda Rawlinson of Florence and Linda Short of Bethune; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Kenneth Gardner.
