May 21, 1907: A case of measles was reported Tuesday in the family of Millard Crubaugh, 151 West Mai(n) Street.
October 4, 1907: Opal Crubaugh, Infant daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Millard Crubaugh, died at 6:00 Friday morning at the family residence. 12 N. Clinton Street, aged 8 weeks. The funeral will be held at 10:30 Saturday morning from the residence. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
October 5, 1907: The funeral and burial were announced again. However, the address given was 812 Clinton Street.
Conclusion: Bessie's having contracted measles during her sixth month of pregnancy probably caused the early death of Opal.
