KENNEY - The Funeral Of Nora A. Crubaugh, 96, of Elgin, formerly of Kenney, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, the Rev. Billy P. Bell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crubaugh died at 11:10 a.m. Saturday (April 22, 1995) at the Sherman West Court Nursing Home, Elgin. She was born Feb. 4, 1899, in Kenney, a daughter of Beacher and Manda Thomas Nichols. She married Byrl Eugene Crubaugh in 1929 in Kenney. He died in 1961.
She is survived by six granddaughters, including Jackie Davidson, Farmer City, and Terri Burcham, LeRoy; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, four grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
Nora had several children during her first marriage.
