KENNEY - E. Elizabeth "Doo" Crubaugh, 95, of Kenney died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 26, 2003) at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, 201 S. Center St., Clinton. The Rev. Sandra K. Riley and the Rev. Ron George will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crubaugh was born Nov. 5, 1907, in Macon County, a daughter of George and Anna Beck Dietrich. She married Homer Crubaugh on June 21, 1927, in Clinton. He died Dec. 5, 1971. Survivors include a son, Robert H. Crubaugh of Decatur; two daughters, Hazel J. Snyder of Clinton and Ruth A. Peterson of Kenney; 10 grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Mrs. Crubaugh was a member of Kenney United Methodist Church and a charter member of DeWitt County Home Extension. Memorials may be made to Kenney United Methodist Church Roof Fund or Kenney Heritage Association.
