Flora LaCoste Reynolds, 72, of Bethany Church Road, passed away at her home Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Forest United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jacqueline Tookey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Darlington County, S.C., on Aug. 5, 1936, to William Theodore LaCoste and Ruby Mozingo LaCoste. She was a graduate of Furman University and former educator. Mrs. Reynolds received her master's in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1989. She was a devoted wife, mother and memaw and a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Anthony Reynolds, who died Feb. 18, 2003.

Surviving are three sons, George Anthony Reynolds Jr. and his wife, Alison, of Clemson, S.C., David LaCoste Reynolds and his wife, Donna, of Greensboro, and Warren Sheldon Reynolds and his wife, Rita, of Salisbury; two brothers, William Edward LaCoste and his wife, Pat, of Greenwood, S.C., and James Miller LaCoste and his wife, Carolyn, of Bishopville, S.C.; and 10 grandchildren, Warren Sheldon Reynolds II, Bradley David Reynolds, Amanda Kate Reynolds, Andrew Wilburn Reynolds, John Anthony Reynolds, Neill Carter Reynolds, Nicole LaCoste Reynolds, William Anthony Reynolds, Samuel James Reynolds and Azilee Caroline Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.
