Funeral services for Maxine Boutwell McCurdy, 85, of Lena, were held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, from the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, with the Rev. T. J. Porter officiating.
Interment was in the Maynor Creek Cemetery in Wayne County.
Born April 12, 1923, and a native of Mississippi, Boutwell McCurdy worked as a laborer with the Masonite Corp. She died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Annie Jean Antone of Lena; a brother, Bill Boutwell of Ridgeland; three sisters, Ruby Stanley of Clinton, Ann Hutto of Waynesboro and Betty Shoemake of Laurel; two grandchildren, Patricia Morando of Morton and Sandra Burton of Pelahatchie; and three great-grandchildren, Kaylee Renfroe, Ashlynn Morado and Trey Burton.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Boutwell; her father, Forrest Boutwell; two brothers, Cleamon Boutwell and Clifton Boutwell; and a sister, Hazel Langley.
Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
