Robert Richey, 78, of Bonney went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2008, in Houston, Texas.

Robert was born on December 8, 1929, in Waynesboro, Mississippi, to parents, John Robert and Ella Mozingo Richey.

Robert spent 44 years of his life residing in Bonney, where he served on the city council. Robert was an avid gardener and cattle farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ella; and one granddaughter, Melissa Seyer.

Robert leaves behind many loved ones, including his wife of 44 years, Frances Richey; sons, Bobby Richey of White Plains, Missouri, and Jerry Wayne Norris of Cypress, Texas; daughter, Ann Rabb Curry of Angleton, Texas; brothers, J.R. Richey Jr. of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and Kenneth Wayne Richey of Clinton, Mississippi; sisters, Katie Carroll of Quitman, Mississippi, and Jerry Ray and Jackie Weber, both of Clinton, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Jamie Beshoory and Joshua Norris; and six great-grandchildren, Sean Cody, William, Jordan, James, Jamison and Pryce.

Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Palms Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Robert's grandson, Sean Cody Gentry, will officiate the service.

Burial will be Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in Union Hills Cemetery in Hermitage, Arkansas.
