Pioneer Gone

Died , near Corinth Kentucky., September 15, 1890 , Patsy Martin ,
aged 84 years 8 months and 7 days. She was the daughter of Joseph and
Mary Mozingo, Who moved to Decatur County and settled on a farm four
miles south of Greensburg in the year 1833. Joseph died in the year
1836: Mary died in 1872, being at the time over one hundred years
old. The subject of this sketch was a sister of Henry Joseph and
Landy Mozingo and Mary Tremain, wife of Hiram Tremain, all of whom
resided in this county and are now dead. Patsy Married William
Martin, of Harrison County Kentucky., Who died eight years ago.
they were married about the year 1825 near Colemansville, Kentucky .,
and purchased a farm near that place, on which they lived until 1860,
when they sold out and bought a farm near Corineth Kentucky., in
Harrison county, where were nine children , five girls and four boys,
three of whom are dead. Landy, Henry and Patsy Mozingo were born near
old Cane Ridge meeting house in Bourbon County Kentucky., which
church the writer learned recently , is still standing. It was used
then by the Presbyterians and the Baptist and now by the Christians.

Martin who married Zerelda Beagle on 18 November 1862 in Harrison County, Kentucky near Colemansville. This couple had one son, Alexander F. Martin. I believe this may be the right family. ...
