... My recollection is that Grandpa Houston (that's what we always called him) came from Alabama to the Monzingo plantation near Minden Louisiana. Here he got a job and later married Thomas and Mary's daughter, Frankie Octavia (Fannie) Monzingo. I don't recall Fannie but remember her husband, Grandpa Houston (Albert Lonzo), quite well. He made many visits to our home in the Abilene, Texas area when I was a young boy. And we also visited with him and his kids in Dallas many times. ... Dolin Hughes
