Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Graves Monzingo Cone, 96, will be held at 10 a.m.Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. RandyHales officiating. Burial will follow at Minden Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 6 p.m. today, Feb. 6, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cone, a native of Strong, Ark., and a resident of Minden, passed away Thursday,Feb. 5, in Minden. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, N.J. Cone and Glen Monzingo; daughters,Jean Scruggs, Sybil Osborn, Ann Crawford, Cecile Cole and Matt Ward.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Monzingo Ballard and son-in-law James C. Ward;brothers and sisters, John H. Graves, Opal New, Geneva Wilder of Arkansas, and SueMajors of Texas, and Irene Thomas of West Monroe; grandchildren, Pam Loftin and husbandBob, Annette Wimberly, Layten Osborne, Donna Ashley and husband Bill, Stan Haneyand wife Belinda and John Crawford; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
