Linnie Sue Monzingo, 62, Ardmore, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Monty Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis. Monzingo was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Abilene, Texas, to Willie Calvin and Verna Mae Davis Monzingo. She had been a resident of Ardmore for the past nine years. She moved there from Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, she worked as an operator for the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. She is preceded in death by a brother, Tafford Leon Monzingo. Survivors include: a sister, Roberta Clark and a brother, Jerry Don Monzingo, both of Ardmore. She is also survived by many close friends.
