... Do you think Willis Kirkley/Kirkley b. 1807 married Nancy Mozingo b.1828? I had thought that Willis born 1807 was Willis, Sr. and that he is married to Eliza (see 1840 census, Morgan Co., GA). The 1860 census confuses me (West Side Cahaba River, Bibb Co., Alabama). It shows Willis Kirkland age 53 with Nancy age 32. Maybe(??) this is Nancy Mozingo? Who is Mary age 30 born in SC. I'm wondering if Mary is Willis' sister? I had always thought there were 2 Willis Kirkley (father and son). I'm still trying to sort it all out. If you can help steer me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful.

I had always assumed that Willis Kirkley was the SON b. 1828 until I found the 1870 census and see that it's Willis, Sr. who was married to Nancy Mozingo.
Willis, Sr. was first married to Eliza (or Louisa Meador). One of their sons, George W. Kirkley married Mary Mozingo (Nancy's sister)
