- Ernest Lee Mozingo, 84, a retired farmer, died Thursday in Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born December 18, 1913 in Johnston County to the late John W. and Mattie Batten Mozingo he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lenora Woodard of Princeton. Mr. Mozingo was a member of the Fellowship United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the Rev. Kris Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Alberta Radford Mozingo; daughters, Ernestine Godfrey of Winston-Salem and Margaret Edgerton of Kenly; brothers, Roy Mozingo of Kenly and Paul Mozingo of Lucama; sisters, Audrey Worley and Rose Worley both of Princeton; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

KENLY -- Alberta R. Mozingo, age 87, died Saturday. She was the widow of Ernest Mozingo and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lenora Woodard. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends immediately follow the funeral. Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Princeton Cemetery.

Surviving are her daughters, Ernestine Godfrey and Margaret Edgerton both of Kenly, brothers, Magnus Radford of Garner, Bill Radford and Aubrey Radford both of Kenly, sisters, Lessie McKeel of Princeton and Christine Peedin of Roanoke Rapids, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
