I've been looking for a William Mozingo (one of the many). I suspect
that he is the younger of the two Williams listed in the Ellis Island
Records.(I know the other 2 Mozingos). Now the question. As he or his
wife don't show up in the social security index, is it possable that
merchant marines didn't get Social Security. Did they have a retirement
fund seperate from SSI. I know my grand father retired from the SCL
Railroad and didn't get SSI. The railroad had their own fund, a lot
better than SSI. I don't think he even paid into SSI, they were exempt.

Little Wiley signed the deed on the other branch. He married Edwards
