Benjamin Franklin Garris was killed by a car. He was walking to the store and was hit and killed by a care driven by a Mr. Holmes...per Cousin Lillie Ward Rose's Remembrance of the incident.
He and his sister, Rachel Rebecca Garris Mozingo died within 2 weeks of one another. Rachel Rebecca Garris Mozingo died of pneumonia.
