FADJUR deserves top billing on this page as he was the sire of two
of our foundation horses, and of the 32 horses we own at this writing, only one purebred and four partbreds , carry none of his blood.  
Our very first Arabian mare, FADLOREEN came from the
Jack Tone Ranch in 1972.  One daughter of this mare, two granddaughters
and a grandson grace our breeding herd today.

 By the time we decided to get seriously into breeding in 1986,  
FADJUR was gone and his daughters were at a premium, but his profundity
as a broodmare sire had become more and more evident over the years,
and knowing we wanted the FADJUR blood in
our mares, with limited resources we decided on an
inbred son - FADJURS DOMECQ - (X BINT MEHANAZEM)
to be the sire of our broodmares.  Our second foundation mare, RIMROCKS JANA-TEZ  was chosen for her *MECA tail female line which produced such exotic beauty at the Jack Tone Ranch, but
also her physical resemblence to both SAKI and BINT SAHARA.  
JANA and her four daughters have produced the majority of our broodmares, and other FADJUR granddaughters have been
added through the years,  including a daughter of  DOMECQ's full
sister FADJURS MECA - MECAS REFLECTION
two daugters of YAJUR - BSSA NYAH and FEY ABHA MOON
and a daugter of  FADJURS NOBILITY - FADINA SHALIMA.

Since 1994 the FADJUR granddaughters have been crossed with the
Egyptian blood of SAR EL KAMAR whose sire was imported from Germany and whose dam traces to nearly all the important sources of Egyptian blood imported in this century...his tail female line tracing to the very first straight Egyptian mare imported by Daniel Gainey in the 30's.  His pedigree includes horses imported and bred by Henry Babson, Glennoch Farms, Richard Pritzlaff,  the Lokens, Jay Stream, Jarrell McCraken, Glorieta Ranch.

As the females from this cross come of age we've looked high
and low for a stallion to complement them without losing any of the
qualities we admire.  After much searching and study we beleive
we've found the sire of the next generation in DARK RAVEN.
His tail female line to FADARO (FADJUR X BINT FADARA),
ads a strong infusion of the BINT SAHARA blood as FADARO
was the product of a full brother-sister mating.
 His maternal grandsire being all Polish breeding will ad an all new
source of substance and athletic ability and the Egyptian blood of
his sire should help us maintain beauty and type.  We'll also
be getting a new color in the gene pool, as his name implies
DARK RAVEN is  black ...a true blue black.
