Have you ever thought of doing something rewarding?
Why not consider becoming a Volunteer for the Last Chance Cat Sanctuary.
100% of the work of LCCS is carried out by unpaid Volunteers.
Anyone who does not mind being unpaid, overworked, and frequently harassed would make an
excellent Volunteer for LCCS!
It could be you!
Job Description
Extremely varied, from fund raising, transporting cats to and from veterinary clinics, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, fostering, and
trapping cats and kittens. Consider donating your time to help with telephone work or other administrative tasks - the list is endless and depends
on your interests.
Qualifications
Apart from the love of cats, you will require a sense of humor and the ability to
work as part of a team. You will have to remain calm and logical in difficult situations
and not let your heart rule your head.
Hours
As many hours as you can spare, mainly weekends with some evening work too.
Benefits
The main benefit is job satisfaction. You will have done your part to assist the
homeless, sick, and needy cats in your area. You will meet some interesting people and you will
feel a sense of achievement when you see the happy results of the tragedies that are
brought to the Sanctuary.
