Prawn Balls Curry
Ingredients:

500 gms prawns
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 onions
3 Green chillies
1/2 tsp chilly powder
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
oil for frying
2 cups coconut milk
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp chopped ginger
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 cup tomato puree
Salt to taste
To make the prawn balls:
Cook prawns with turmeric powder. Grind it into a thick paste with salt. Chop 1 onion and 2 green chilles. Mix these with the prawn paste and shape it into small balls. Beat the egg. Dip the balls in the beaten egg and then roll them in the bread crumbs. Deep fry till they are nice and golden in colour. Keep aside.
To make the curry:
Chop 2 onions and 2 green chillies finely. Grind ginger and garlic to a paste. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Fry onions, green chllies, ground paste for 5 minutes. Add tomato puree, garam masala, chilly powder followed by coconut milk and salt. Allow it to boil. Slowly add the fried alls on low flame and let it cook till the gravy becomes thick. Garnish with chopped corander leaves.
Note:
If hubby or my two sons spot the fried prawn balls, they eat them up even before I can utter the word "Curry". So beware.
