Mutton with Tomato ( Lamb/Mutton )

Ingredients:
1/2 kg mutton
1/2 kg tomatoes, chopped
3 onions, chopped finely
1" ginger piece
4 cloves garlic
9 red chilies
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper corns
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:
Grind ginger, red chilies, garlic, cumin and pepper. Wash the mutton well and marinate it with the ground spices for 45 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till light brown. Add tomatoes, salt, marinated mutton and a little water. Stir to mix. Cook till mutton is tender. Serve with rice/pulao/chappatis.
This serves about 7 people.
Besides the 45 minutes for marination, it takes another 45 minutes for the cooking process.
