Semolina Biscuits ( Tea-Coffee-Time )
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cake flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup semolina
1 cup softened butter
2/3 cup icing sugar
3/4 cup orange-flower water
30 blanched almonds
Method:
Preheat oven to 140'C. Sift together the cake flour, all purpose flour and semolina and set aside. Beat the butter for at least 10 minutes until it is fluffy. Then beat some more whilst sprinkling in the orange flower water and icing sugar.
Fold in the flour mixture gradually. Then refrigerate the soft dough in a covered bowl for about 15 minutes.
Shape into 1 inch balls. Place the balls on an ungreased baking tray. Place an almond on each ball. Bake till golden brown, Let the biscuits cool before serving.
