"AHHH...what was that noise?" yelled Jennifer, sitting up straight in her bed. "Man am I tired!"
"RRRRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG"
"OH MY GOSH! The telephone!" Jennifer quickly jumped out of bed and ran to the get the phone. "Hello" she said in a sleepy voice.
"Wake up sleepy head...we have alot of work to do!" said James Epson, Jennifer's manager.
"Huh?" Jennifer asked. "Its 11am on a Saturday...my day off!"
"Not anymore" replied James.
"And why is that" Jennifer remarked, now more awake.
"Because we have a tour to prepare for" James told Jennifer excitedly.
"A tour?" Jennifer replied somewhat stunned. "For who? When?"
"Relax, you'll get all the details when you get your lazy butt down to the studio!" James told her.
"Oh my gosH! Ok, I'll be there in 20 minutes" Jennifer said. She hung up the phone and ran to get ready.
One hour later
"The Backstreet Boys?!?" Jennifer yelled. "I'm opening for the BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!"
"Calm down now, we have alot of work to do, the tour starts in 2 months and I have to have you 100% ready" James said in a very serious tone. "So lets get this show on the road!" he added.
"Ok" replied Jennifer, who was still in shock.
"Now heres what we have come up with for your performance. It's going to be about 25 minutes long. I think you should open with 'I Take It Back' because its catchy and upbeat. Then you will introduce yourself and your dancers..."
"Wait, I have dancers" Jennifer interupted.
"Yeah, get used to it" James joked.
"Wow" Jennifer continued.
"Anyways, then you can keep the crowd on their feet with 'Dance With Me' and then slow it down and really show off your vocal talent with 'I Loved You' and another ballad like 'Forever' Then end the show with your soon to be released single 'Give It To Me' Sound good?" James asked.
"Um, yeah" replied Jennifer, who was becoming very overwhelmed.
"Ok, then lets not waste time, come meet your dancers." James told her.
"Ok" Jennifer responded. The 2 headed into the dance studio where Jennifer was introduced to her 3 female dancers, Caitlyn, Sarah and Alyssa. The girls exchanged friendly hello's and then began to learn their new choreography that they continued to practice for the next 2 months.
Two Months Later...
"I cant believe this day is finally here! We're finally going on tour" Jennifer said very excitedly.
"I know, its going to be so much fun!" Caitlyn added.
"I am so glad we became such good friends, otherwise I would have been pretty bored on this tour all by myself" Jennifer said.
"Bored? With the Backstreet Boys?" Alyssa joked.
"Well, Nick may be hot, but he certainly wouldnt make the best shopping partner" Jennifer laughed.
"If I were with Nick, or any of them for that matter, I wouldnt be thinking about shopping" Sarah joked as they all began laughing.
"Ok, enough joking around, lets get on the bus, you guys have a long drive ahead of you" James said as he approached the girls. They all said their final goodbyes to their family and friends and met up with James by the bus. "Ok, lets go over the details one last time...I'll meet up with you guys tomorrow in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the tour begins. We'll get settled in the hotel, then we'll meet up and we have a sound check and rehersal on the stage that afternoon. Ok?"
"Got it James" Jennifer replied.
"Have fun girls and see you later" James said as they boarded the bus.
"Bye James" they all yelled back in unison.
"Damn this bus is nice" Alyssa remarked.
"Wow, it is" Jennifer added. the girls all chose their bunks and got situated for their long drive ahead of them.
That night...
"So, who do you think the sexiest Backstreet Boy is?" Alyssa asked as they all lay wide awake in their bunks.
"I think Kevin is soo sexy, but he's a little old for me" Sarah said.
"Gee Sarah, you act like your 12, your 18 girl" Alyssa laughed.
"I think Brian is sexy, with that 'no sex before marriage' thing he's got goin on there" Caitlyn said in between her giggles. They all burst into laughter.
"Come on, you dont really think he does that do you" Alyssa said laughing.
"Not once he meets me" Caitlyn said, now laughing even harder.
"What about you Jenn?" Sarah asked.
"I think I'm partial to blondes cause I think Nick is HOT!" Jennifer said smiling.
"Aww, you guys are like the perfect age for each other too, he's 19 and your 18 Jenn" Caitlyn said.
"Your turn Alyssa" Jennifer said.
"I think AJ is soo sexy!" she laughed.
"Not bad" they all agreed. The girls continued to joke around until they began to fall asleep thinking about the buy day they had ahead of them tomorrow.
The Next Morning...
I wonder if anyone else is up Jennifer thought as she stretched out as much as she could in her rather small bunk. Oh well, I'm hungry and I cant lay in this stupid bed any longer she told herself as she got up. She approached the front of the bus as she realized what time it was. "Man, its 11:30am already, we should be there soon! She poured herself a bowl of cereal as she thought about her first performance she would be doing that night.
"Good morning Jenn" Alyssa said as she went to sit on the nearby couch.
"Morning" Jenn replied back
"You excited about tonight?" Alyssa asked
"Yeah, and a little nervous too" Jennifer told her.
"Dont worry, you'll do fine" Alyssa reassured her.
"Almost there girls the bus driver yelled back to them. "About 10 more minutes"
"We better wake Caitlyn and Sarah so James doesnt get mad" Jennifer said.
As soon as they were all up they quickly gathered their stuff as they pulled up to the Marriot Hotel they would be staying at in Ft. Lauderdale. They all exited the bus and were greeted by James who helped them carry their things into the hotel lobby.
"I've already arranged your rooms" James told them. "Caitlyn and Alyssa, you are in one room and Jenn and Sarah, your in the other. Sound ok?" he asked.
"Actually" Sarah interupted, "My mom lives up here, and I was hoping I could stay with her tonight after the show. I could meet you in the morning, because she's only 5 minutes from here."
"Ok, then you have your own room Jenn" James said.
"Thanks" Sarah said smiling.
"No problem" James told her.
"Ok, heres your keys, go rest for a little bit and I'll meet up with you at 3:30 for a sound check. Be ready" James told them.
"Ok, see ya later James" Jennifer said.
"I'm going to meet my mom for lunch then" Sarah said.
"Ok, bye Sarah" they all said in unison.
"I want to go swimming and check out the hot guys around here" Caitlyn laughed.
"I'm with her" Alyssa said smiling.
"What about you Jenn?" they asked
"Actually, I think I could use a shower and a nap" Jennifer told them
"Ok, see you at 3:30" they called as they ran to get ready.
When they were out of sight Jennifer headed towards the elevator, happy to finally relax and prepare herself for tonight.
